Our Lady Mediatrix of All Graces

Our Lady, Mary Mediatrix of All Grace ((スペイン語:Nuestra Señora Maria Mediadora de Toda Gracia); (タガログ語:Mahal na Inang Maria Tagapamagitan ng Lahat ng Biyaya); (イタリア語:La Madonna, Maria Mediatrice di Tutti Grazie)) is a Marian apparition that took place in the Carmelite Monastery of Lipa, Batangas, Philippines, to a former Carmelite postulant, Teresita Castillo. The apparition is known in the Philippines for the rose petals which fell within the vicinity of the monastery, some bearing religious images, and which believers hold to be miraculous.
Once initially declared by a group of 6 Filipino bishops as ''non-supernatural'' on 11 April 1951, the case was reopened in 1991 with extensive research and investigation. The Lipa phenomenon was formally approved by Archbishop Ramon Arguelles on 12 September 2015 as "supernatural in character and worthy of belief".
On 3 March 2011, Pope Benedict XVI was presented a Mediatrix statue by Bishop Guillermo Afable during the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines Ad Limina visit. On 9 March 2011, a life-sized Mediatrix statue brought by Filipino bishops was publicly displayed in the general Wednesday papal audience at Pope Paul VI Audience Hall.〔http://bromarwilnllasos.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-journey-with-mary-mediatrix-of-all.html〕
On 17 January 2015, Pope Francis venerated a replica image at the Archbishop residence in Tacloban city. The original image that once escaped the bonfire is currently enshrined at the Lipa Carmel Church; Batangas, Philippines. Believers in this Marian title are also closely affiliated with the dogmatic proposal of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Co-Redemptrix.
== Name ==
The Blessed Virgin Mary as "Mediatrix" is a proposed Marian dogma that is still under debate by Catholic theologians; this is sometimes further defined by the title Mediatrix of all graces. It has its origins in Belgium where devotion until this title began, and the same Marian title was consecrated by the Catholic bishops in China from 1946.
